Carpool

(out of 5)

I cannot believe I actually paid a full eight dollars for this film. This flick is definitely not going to be in theaters for long. In fact, it was rumored to be originally broadcasted on CBS-TV! Whoever changed that plan is probably in a very sorry state.

This movie is about a robber who takes a father and some kids as hostages. Oddly enough, the hostages STAY with the robber, and do everything possible for him not to get caught! Boy was the screen writer desperate to keep the plot going! The movie could of ended within the first 10 minutes if the kids would just get out of the van!

The flim is full of cheap kiddie humor, which is ironic, because none of the kids in the theater would crack a smile. What kind of influence is this on children? "Daddy, let's be nice to all the robbers!" Unbelievable. Although the screen writer attempted to throw in some family values in Carpool, the content was too ribald to even remotely be a "family movie."
